West Pennard was granted to Glastonbury Abbey by the king of the Mercians in 681. The manor was held by the Abbey until the dissolution of the monasteries in 1539. It was then granted to Edward Seymour, Duke of Somerset in 1547 until his execution when it reverted to the Crown.

Chalice Well The Chalice Well, also known as the Red Spring, is a well situated near the summit of Chalice Hill, a small hill next to Glastonbury Tor in Somerset. The natural spring and surrounding gardens are owned and managed by the Chalice Well Trust (registered charity no. 204206)

St Andrew’s Church, Edgarley St Andrew’s Church is a former Church of England mission church. It was built in 1897 and is now used as a private chapel by Millfield Preparatory School.

Ponter’s Ball Dyke Ponter’s Ball Dyke is a linear earthwork located near Glastonbury in Somerset. It consists of an embankment with a ditch on the east side. Both ends of the ditch and dyke disappear into moorland, formerly swamps.

Church of St Peter, North Wootton The Anglican Church of St Peter in North Wootton, Somerset, was built in the 14th or 15th century. It is a Grade II* listed building.
