Nantcribba Nantcribba is a township in the parish of Forden in the historic county of Montgomeryshire and now in Powys. It is also the site of the Corbett, Barons of Caus Castle in Shropshire. To the south of the Castle site was NantCribba Hall, which was owned by the Devereux family and the Marquises of Hereford.

Long Mountain transmitting station The Long Mountain transmitting station is sited on a 400 metres (1,300 ft) ridge about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) east of Welshpool in Powys, Mid Wales. The site has a self-supporting 170′ (52 metre) high lattice steel mast and was fed with an SHF link from Blaenplwyf via Llangurig.

Trelystan Trelystan is a remote parish and township on the border of the historic county of Montgomeryshire with Shropshire. In some old sources the parish is also referred to as Wolston Mynd. Trelyst was a chapel of ease within the parish of Worthen and also served the township of Leighton.

Long Mountain (Powys) Long Mountain (Welsh: Cefn Digoll) is a hill straddling the boundary between Powys (Wales) and Shropshire (England) to the east of Welshpool. The summit at 408 metres (1,339 feet) at Beacon Ring is within Wales. Long Mountain is a Marilyn (a hill with topographic prominence of at least 150 metres)
