Comarques, Thorpe-le-Soken Comarques is a Grade II* listed country house in Thorpe-le-Soken, Essex. Named after Captain Comarque, a Hugenot refugee who owned the estate in the early 18th century. The author Arnold Bennett lived at the house between 1913 and 1921.

Dream 100 FM Dream 100 was an independent local radio station owned by Bauer. It broadcast to Tendring and Essex from studios in Colchester and Ipswich. The station was folded into Greatest Hits Radio East, as part of a rebrand and merger.
