Streetlam Streetlam is situated 6 miles (9.7 km) northwest of Northallerton. The population fluctuates around 25 people. The main local industry is farming, but many people base themselves locally and commute to work in neighbouring population centres.

Whitwell, North Yorkshire Whitwell is 6.5 miles (10.5 km) north west of Northallerton. At the 2011 Census the population was less than 100. Details are included in the civil parish of Great Langton.
