Fishmore Hall Hotel Fishmore Hall Hotel in Ludlow, Shropshire, was built in about 1820. It was a private residence for many years and in the late part of the 20th century it became a school. It has been recently converted to a hotel.

Feathers Hotel, Ludlow The Feathers Hotel, The Bullring, Ludlow, Shropshire is an historic inn. It was constructed in 1619, over an earlier core, for a local lawyer, Rees Jones. It is a Grade I listed building, listed on 15 April 1954.

The Bull Hotel, Ludlow The Bull Hotel is a Grade II listed building in Ludlow. The public house is described as the best surviving medieval inn in the area. The hotel hosts the Fringe Festival, featuring live jazz music and plays in the courtyard of the hotel.

Rout of Ludford Bridge The Rout of Ludford Bridge was a largely bloodless confrontation fought in the early years of the Wars of the Roses. It took place on 12 October 1459 and resulted in a setback for the Yorkists. Although this seemed to be a triumph for the rival Lancastrians at the time, they had thrown away their advantage within six months.
