Christianity was reintroduced to the Midlands at Repton, where some of the Mercian royal family under Peada were baptised in AD 653. In 669 the Bishop of Mercia translated his see from Repton to Lichfield in 669. Repton was the forebear of the archdiocese of Lichfield, a third archbishopric of the English church: Lichfield.

St Andrew’s Church, Twyford St Andrew’s Church, Twyford is a Grade I listed parish church in the Church of England in Derbyshire. The church is situated in the village of St Andrew’s Church in the area.

Monks Bridge, River Dove Monks Bridge is a bridge across the River Dove between Stretton, Staffordshire and Egginton, Derbyshire. A bridge has existed here since the early 13th century, though much of the current structure dates to the 15th century. It formerly carried traffic on what is now the A38 road but a replacement structure was built to the north in 1926.

Foremark Reservoir Foremark Reservoir (OS grid reference SK3324) is a reservoir in South Derbyshire owned by Severn Trent. It is also a 230-acre nature reserve open to the public for walking, fishing, bird watching and horse riding. Admission is free, but there is a charge for the use of the car park.

Repton Priory Repton Priory was established in the 12th century and was originally under the control of Calke Priory. The priory became a place of pilgrimage on account of the shrine of St Guthlac, and his bell. Pilgrims believed that placing their head upon it would cure headaches.

St Saviour’s Church, Foremark St Saviour’s Church, Foremark is a Grade I listed parish church in Foremark, Derbyshire. It was built in the 1930s and is now a Grade II listed parish.

Foremarke Hall Foremarke Hall is a Georgian-Palladian country house and manor house. Completed in 1762, the Hall is located at the manor (hamlet) of Foremark, near the hamlets of Ingleby, Ticknall, Milton, and the village of Repton in South Derbyshire. It is the current home of the Repton Preparatory School.
