Prestwood is one of three hays (hedged hunting areas) of Kinver Forest. The name is derived from priests’ wood, because it was confirmed to Lady Wulfrun and used by her to endow the priests of Wolverhampton. Kinver Edge
Kinver Edge is a high heath and woodland escarpment just west of Kinver, about four miles west of Stourbridge, and four miles north of Kidderminster, England . It is on the border between Worcestershire and Staffordshire, and is now owned by the National Trust .
