Penrhyncoch F.C. Penrhyncoch Football Club is a semi-professional football club. The club was founded in 1965 and currently play in the Cymru North the second tier of Welsh football. They have played at their current home ground, Cae Baker.

Ystrad Peithyll Ystrad Peithyll is the remains of a small 12th-century motte-and-bailey castle. The castle was attacked and destroyed by followers of Gruffydd ap Rhys in the early 12th century.

Goginan Goginan is about 7 miles outside Aberystwyth on the A44 between Ponterwyd and Capel Bangor. The Afon Melindwr runs through the village, and is a tributary of the Afon Rheidol.

Nanteos Mansion Nanteos is an 18th-century former country house in Llanbadarn-y-Creuddyn, near Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, Wales. The current building was constructed between 1738 and 1757 for the Powell family. The family occupied the house for some 200 years up until the last of the Powells, Margaret Powell, died in 1951.
