Teign Bridge
The Teign Bridge is a road bridge over the River Teign near Kingsteignton, Devon carrying the Exeter Road across the river. It has been Grade II listed since 1987.
Teigngrace
The name Teigngrace derives from the name of the river and Geoffrey Gras, who held the manor in 1352. The parish is surrounded, clockwise from the north, by the parishes of Bovey Tracey, Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot and a small part of Ilsington. Within the parish are several reminders of the area’s industrial heritage.
River Bovey
River Bovey rises on the eastern side of Dartmoor in Devon, England, and is the largest tributary to the River Teign. The river flows for about two miles northwards from source before turning to a generally south easterly direction. It flows through the Lustleigh Cleave between the villages of Manaton and Lustleigh.
Lindridge House
Lindridge House was a large 17th-century mansion in the south-west of Devon. It was destroyed by fire on 25 April 1963 and its ruins were finally demolished in the early 1990s. The gardens have been restored and are Grade II listed in the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
