Hipping Hall is a country house hotel on the border of Lancashire, Cumbria and North Yorkshire. Opened in 2005 by chemist-turned-hotelier Andrew Wildsmith. The five-star retreat dates back to the 15th century and has nine bedrooms.

Burrow Hall is a large 18th-century country house in Burrow-with-Burrow, Lancashire. It lies in the Lune Valley on the A683 some 2 miles (3 km) south of Kirkby Lonsdale. The hall was built over the site of a Roman Fort, the initial construction of which is thought to date to the Flavian period.
