Kirknewton, Northumberland Kirknewton is a Northumbrian village in the north of Northumberland. The population as taken at the 2011 Census was less than 100. The village lies in the valley of Glendale, which takes its name from the River Glen.

Coupland Castle Coupland Castle is a tower house built in the late 16th century. It is a Grade I listed building. The castle is situated 4 miles (6 km) to the north-west of Wooler, Northumberland.

Maelmin Henge Maelmin Henge is modern interpretation/reconstruction of a henge monument near the village of Milfield, Northumberland in the Till Valley. The landscape in which the contemporary monument sits held a number of Neolithic and early Bronze Age henge monuments around 5,000 years ago.
