Dolgellau transmitting station The Dolgellau transmitting station is a broadcasting and telecommunications facility located on a hill about 1 km north of the town in Gwynedd, Wales. It was originally built by the BBC, entering service just before Christmas 1967 acting as a relay transmitter for the now-defunct 405-line VHF television system.

Neuadd Idris Neuadd Idris is the old market hall in Dolgellau, now known as Ty Siamas. The market hall is located in the middle of the medieval town.

Dolgellau and Barmouth Hospital Dolgellau and Barmouth Hospital is a Grade II listed building in Gwynedd, Wales. It is managed by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

Nannau, Wales Nannau (Welsh: the place of many streams) is a Georgian mansion and estate near the village of Llanfachreth, Gwynedd. The mansion was originally inhabited by the Nanney (Nannau) family, who were direct descendants of the House of Mathrafal, of the King of Gynedd and Powys. In 1795 their descendants, the Vaughan baronets, replaced the then 17th-century mansion with a new house co-designed by Joseph Bromfield, which still stands today.
