Littleworth used to be part of the ecclesiastical parish of Great Faringdon. At the time of the Domesday Book in 1086 it appears to have been part of Worth. Buckland House Buckland House is a large Georgian stately home, the manor house of Buckland in Oxfordshire. It is a masterpiece of Palladian architecture erected by John Wood, the Younger for Sir Robert Throckmorton in 1757.
