Church of St Mary, Letchworth The Church of St Mary the Virgin is the Church of England parish church of Letchworth in Hertfordshire. A church appears to have been on the site since before the Norman Conquest. The current church was built in the late 12th century and is Grade II listed.

Rooks Nest House Rooks Nest House is Grade I listed for its historical interest and literary associations. It was the childhood home of the author E. M. Forster (1879–1970) who described it in the novel Howards End. Forster’s mother Lily rented the property between 1883 and 1893.
