Langdon Hills was a civil parish, part of the Orsett Rural District. In 1931 it covered an area of 1,816 acres (7.35 km) and had a population of 2,103. 100 years earlier, in 1831, the population was 224 and the area covered was 1,850 acres.

All Saints Church, Vange All Saints Church, Vange is a redundant Anglican church in the former village of Vange, now part of the town of Basildon, Essex. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

Vange Vange is a former village now subsumed within the urban area of the Basildon Borough of Essex. It does not have its own town centre or railway station. The London Road (B1464) is the main road through Vange and used to be part of the A13 until the 1970s.
