Knipe Point history
Originally the first Trade Union holiday camp in the North of England, owned by NALGO it opened its doors in 1933. During the Second World War it became a home for evacuated children from Middlesbrough. The site became permanent residential homes in 1985 when a planning restriction limiting the site to holiday homes was overruled.

Scarborough power station
Scarborough power station supplied electricity to the town of Scarborough and the surrounding area from 1893 to 1958. The coal-fired power station had an ultimate electricity generating capacity of 7 MW prior to its closure in October 1958.

Scarborough Town Hall, originally St Nicholas House, is a red brick Jacobean Revival mansion in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Scarborough Athletic Football Club was formed on 25 June 2007 following the winding up of Scarborough Football Club. The club currently play in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. After spending their first ten seasons groundsharing at Bridlington Town, the club moved into a new stadium in July 2017.
