St John the Baptist’s Church, Burringham St John the Baptist’s Church is a redundant Anglican church in Burringham, Lincolnshire. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a Grade II listed building. The church stands at the south end of the village, on the east bank of the River Trent.

Keadby Power Station Keadby Power Station is a 734 MWe gas-fired power station near Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire. It lies near the B1392 and the River Trent. Also nearby is the Stainforth and Keady Canal, which is part of the Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation.

Flixborough disaster The Flixborough disaster was an explosion at a chemical plant in 1974. It killed 28 people and seriously injured 36 out of a total of 72 people on site at the time. The disaster led to a widespread public outcry over process safety.

Althorpe Althorpe is a small village in North Lincolnshire, England. It is four miles (6 km) west of Scunth orpe and the same distance south-east of Crowle, on the A18 road. The population details are included in the civil parish of Keadby.
