Ideford photo Haldon Aerodrome
Haldon Aerodrome was the first airfield in Devon. Established in the 1920s as a private flying field. It developed into an airport with scheduled airline service. It was used by the Navy during World War II.

River Bovey rises on the eastern side of Dartmoor in Devon, England, and is the largest tributary to the River Teign. The river flows for about two miles northwards from source before turning to a generally south easterly direction. It flows through the Lustleigh Cleave between the villages of Manaton and Lustleigh.
