Himley Hall is owned by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. St. Michael’s Church is the only church in the village, which was erected in 1764 and is Grade II listed.

Gornal Athletic F.C. Gornal Athletic Football Club play in the West Midlands (Regional) League Division One. Currently play at the Garden Walk Stadium in Dudley, West Midlands.

Highgate Common Staffordshire Wildlife Trust reserve contains a mix of heathland and woodland. It is about 129 hectares or 320 acres in size. The common is a popular leisure destination and a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Holbeche House Some members of the Gunpowder Plot were either killed or captured at Holbeche House in 1605. The mansion is located north of Kingswinford, now in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley but historically in Staffordshire.

The Crooked House The Crooked House is a pub and restaurant in South Staffordshire, England. Its name and distinctive appearance are the result of 19th-century mining subsidence. One side of the building is now approximately 4 feet (1.2 m) lower than the other.
