Blidworth The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 4,457. Its history can be traced back to the 10th century. Many of the current houses were built in the first half of the 20th century to provide housing for workers at Blidworth Colliery.

Haywood Oaks Haywood Oaks is a hamlet and former civil parish, 10 miles (16 km) from Nottingham, now in the parish of Blidworth. In 1931 the parish had a population of 17 but by 1961 the population of 756 had increased to 756. The parish continues as an extra parochial area in the Church of England.
