Hathern Hathern is a village and civil parish in the Charnwood district of Leicestershire. It is located in the north of the district, and is just north of Loughborough. The village is home to the Swift Sock Factory, one of only a small number of independent sock manufacturers left in the UK.

St Botolph’s Church, Shepshed St Botolph’s Church, Shepshed is the Church of England Parish Church in Leicestershire. It was built in the 1930s.

Shepshed Dynamo F.C. Shepshed Dynamo Football Club are based in the north west of Leicestershire, England. Founded in the 19th century, the team played for the majority of their early history in the Leicesterhire Senior League. The club encountered financial difficulties in 1994 and reformed under the new name in recognition of the help provided by local side Loughborough Dynamo.
