Headland, Hartlepool Headland is a civil parish in the borough of Hartlepool, County Durham, in the North East of England. The area made national headlines in July 1994 in connection with the murder of Rosie Palmer, a local toddler.

Hartlepool railway station (Hartlepool Dock & Railway) Hartlepool railway station was built in 1839 as the coastal terminus of the Hartlepool Dock & Railway. For most of its life the station was a shuttle service from the town’s main station.
