Risinghoe Castle Risinghoe Castle is a 20-foot mound, located in the former village of Goldington, a parish in the hundred of Barford, in the county of Bedfordshire. The mound is located on the north side of the River Ouse, three miles east of Bedford Castle and a mile west of Renhold Castle.

Great Barford Castle Great Barford Castle was a motte and bailey castle, made of timber, and surrounded by a moat. It is located 1 mile south of Renhold Castle, which is sometimes referred to as the “Second Renhold” The castle is also located near two other castles, Bedford Castle and Gannock Castle.
