Golant history

Golant Halt was a railway station situated beside the river south of the village. It was served by trains on the Great Western Railway’s Fowey branch line from 1 July 1896 until 4 January 1965. During the English Civil War in 1644 a 10,000-strong parliamentary army fought Royalist forces in area.

St Cyricius and St Julietta’s Church, St Veep St Cyricius and St Julietta’s Church, St Veep, Cornwall is a Grade I listed Church of England parish church. It was built in the 1930s.
