Fivehead was part of the hundred of Abdick and Bulstone. Swell Court Farmhouse dates from the mid to late 15th century. Cathanger manor house dates from 1559. Nearby was RAF Merryfield, a World War II airfield.

Earnshill House Earnshill House in Hambridge, near Curry Rivel, Somerset, is a Grade I listed manor house. It was built in 1725 for Henry Combe, a Bristol merchant by John Strachan.

All Saints Church, Isle Brewers All Saints Church is a Church of England parish church in Isle Brewers, Somerset. Designed by Charles Edmund Giles, it was built in 1859-61 and has been Grade II listed building since 1959.
