Crook, County Durham
Crook is located 9 miles (14.5 km) south-west of the historic city of Durham. It lies on the edge of Weardale, therefore sometimes referred to as the “Gateway to Weardal” The town is in an unparished area, until 1974 it was in Crook and Willington Urban District.
