Funiculars
A kilometre-long funicular was part of the Garden Festival in 1992, but closed afterwards. In June 2015 a new inclined elevator, the Ebbw Vale Cableway, was opened. It is intended to improve access between levels in the town, from ‘The Works’ site and Coleg Gwent, up to the town centre.
