Eaton Ford history
In Anglo-Saxon times there were small settlements on the west side of the River Great Ouse. A village was formed near the water’s edge, probably opposite the Coneygeare. A further small settlement was on the hilltop near the present Duloe windmill, and was then called Sudbury.
