Dre-fach Felindre history
Little development happened in this area before the late 18th century and it is not clear why Dre-fach Felindre became such an important centre for the production of woollen cloth in Wales. By the early 19th century, four fulling mills were established at Pentrecwrt, Dolwyon, Drefach and Cwmpencraig. At its peak, there were ten mills on Nant Bargod and twenty four in the whole village.

Llandyfriog transmitting station
The Llandyfriog transmitting station is located on high ground several kilometres east of the town of Newcastle Emlyn, Ceredigion, South Wales. It was built in 1980 to relay VHF radio and UHF television to the area. The site has a 25 m self-standing lattice mast erected on land that is itself about 105 m above sea level.
