Pentrebane Pentrebane (Welsh: Pentre-Baen) is a district in the west of Cardiff, capital of Wales. It is part of the Fairwater community.

Battle of St Fagans The Battle of St Fagans was a pitched battle during the Second English Civil War in 1648. A detachment from the New Model Army defeated an army of former Parliamentarian soldiers.

St Mary the Virgin Church, Caerau, Cardiff St. Mary the Virgin Church is a deconsecrated and ruined church in the parish of Caerau with Ely, Cardiff, Wales. It was built in the 13th century on a Roman encampment and closed for the last time in 1973.
