Stoke Gabriel A.F.C.
Stoke Gabriel Football Club was established in the early 1900s as Stoke Gabriel AFC. In June 2021, the club merged with Torbay Police FC. It competes in the South West Peninsula League Premier Division East and currently plays at the G.J. Churchward Memorial Ground.

Sharpham is an historic estate in the parish of Ashprington, Devon. The Georgian mansion house was commenced in about 1770 by the Royal Navy captain Philemon Pownoll. The park and gardens are Grade II* listed in the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
