Longstone of Minchinhampton The Longstone of Minchinhampton is 7.5 feet (2.3 m) high and has natural holes in it. Tradition suggests that passing infants through one of the holes will cure them of illnesses such as measles or whooping cough.

Gatcombe Park Gatcombe Park is the country residence of Anne, Princess Royal. Built in the late 18th century to the designs of George Basevi, it is a Grade II* listed building. Parts of the grounds open for events, including horse trials and craft fairs.

Avening Avening is a village and civil parish in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 1,094, decreasing to 1,031 at the 2011 census. Nearby is Gatcombe Park, the home of the Princess Royal.
