Goodleigh Goodleigh is a village, civil parish and former manor in North Devon. It lies about 2+1/2 miles (4 km) north-east of the historic centre of Barnstaple. The parish church of St Gregory is a grade II* listed building with surviving ancient parts but was largely rebuilt in 1881.

Manor of Loxhore The Manor of Loxhore was a manor in the parish of North Devon, England. It was located in North Devon and was named after the manor. It is believed to have been built in the 17th century.

Church of St Peter, Shirwell The Church of St Peter is the 13th-century Anglican parish church for Shirwell in North Devon. It is a Grade I listed building and comes under the Diocese of Exeter. Aviator and sailor Sir Francis Chichester, who was born in Shirwell, is buried in the churchyard.

Manor of Shirwell The Manor of Shirwell was the seat of two of the leading families of North Devon. The manor house which survives today known as Youlston Park is one of the most architecturally important historic houses in North Devon and exists largely in its Georgian form.

Shirwell Shirwell is a village, civil parish and former manor in the local government district of North Devon. It was also formerly the name of a hundred of Devon. The village lies about 3.5 miles north-east of the town of Barnstaple, to the east of the A39 road to Lynton.

Acland, Landkey The estate of Acland in the parish of Landkey, near Barnstaple in North Devon, England, was from 1155 the earliest known seat of the influential and wealthy family. It is situated about 3/4 mile north-east of the village of Land Key, from which it is now cut off by the busy A361 North Devon Link Road.

Chelfham Viaduct Chelfham Viaduct was built in 1896–97 to carry the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway across the Stoke Rivers valley. The 132-yard (121 m)-long viaduct is the largest narrow gauge railway structure in England.
