Charford used to be farm land with a mill, Charford Mill (known as The Lint Mill) provided employment by the manufacture of sanitary towels and wound dressings. It was derelict for many years until it was demolished to make way for South Bromsgrove High School which retained the old mill pond at the front of the complex.

Grafton Manor Grafton Manor is 13 miles north-east of Worcester & 2 1/2 miles south-west of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. It was established before the Norman Conquest and may indicate a role in woodland management within a larger estate. For a time, in the reign of Henry II to Edward I, it was subject to forest law as part of the Forest of Feckenham.

Christopher Cadbury Wetland Reserve The Christopher Cadbury Wetland Reserve is a nature reserve of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust. It is situated near Upton Warren, between Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa, England. Reserve is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
