Cathedine history
Cathedine formed part of the medieval Marcher lordship of Blaenllynfi from the late 12th century. Following the Laws in Wales Act of 1536, the Lordship of Brecknockshire became part of a new county of Wales. The hamlet was reputably a favourite country hunting base for the 19th century industrialist Crawshay Bailey.

Mynydd Llangorse
