The course of the Roman road which crosses the parish can be traced from Winchester to Marlborough and beyond towards Cirencester. Bourne Rivulet The Bourne Rivulet is a winterbourne (a seasonal chalk stream that rises and falls with the water table) It usually rises in January and flows until around August each year. It is a tributary of the River Test.

Tidbury Ring The Tidbury Ring is the site of an Iron Age univallate hillfort located in Hampshire. The earthworks have been heavily destroyed by ploughing. The interior is for the most part farmland with the earthworks now covered by small trees and undergrowth.
