Settlement at Boughspring dates back to Roman times when a villa was built nearby. Roman Villa was excavated in 1969 and again in 1985, which uncovered a mosaic floor and a possible bath house. It originated as a squatter settlement on the southern edge of Tidenham Chase during the 17th and 18th centuries.

Chepstow War Memorial Chepstow War Memorial commemorates the men of the town who died in the First and Second World Wars. It was designed by Eric Francis, a locally-born architect. The memorial site also includes a German Naval deck gun, donated to the town by George V.

Raglan Lodge Raglan Lodge is a Grade II* listed building in Chepstow, Monmouthshire, Wales. The frontage dates from the early 19th century, but parts of the building date from the medieval period. The ground floor vaulted hall was probably the town’s 14th century moot hall.

Caerwood and Ashberry Goose House Caerwood And Ashberry Goose House is a 0.01-hectare (0.025-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gloucestershire, notified in 1991. The site lies within the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Wyndcliffe Court Wyndcliffe Court, 0.5 miles (0.80 km) north of the village of St. Arvans, Monmouthshire, Wales, was completed in 1922. The client was Charles Leigh Clay and the architect Eric Francis with gardens designed by Henry Avray Tipping.

Wyndcliff The Wyndcliff or Wyndcliffe is a steep limestone cliff rising above the western bank of the River Wye in Monmouthshire, Wales. The cliff rises to 771 feet (235 m) at its summit. The area is traversed by the Wye Valley Walk and is also a popular venue for rock climbing. Access is provided by the A466 road which passes along the valley immediately below the cliff face.

St Anne’s House, Tintern St Anne’s House, Tintern, Monmouthshire, is a house of early medieval origin which includes elements of the gatehouse and chapel of Tintern Abbey. The building was reconstructed in the mid 19th century when it was the home of John Loraine Baldwin, founder of the I Zingari Cricket Club.

Poor’s Allotment Poor’s Allotment (grid reference ST560990) is a 28.57-hectare (70.6-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gloucestershire. The site is listed in the ‘Forest of Dean Local Plan Review’ as a Key Wildlife Site (KWS)

Ridley Bottom, Tidenham Ridley Bottom (grid reference ST563985) is a 1.1-hectare (2.7-acre) nature reserve in Gloucestershire. Site is listed in the ‘Forest of Dean Local Plan Review’ as a Key Wildlife Site (KWS)

Church Cottage, Tutshill Church Cottage in Tutshill, Gloucestershire, is a Grade II listed building. It was the childhood home, between the ages of 9 and 18, of Joanne Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series of fantasy books.

Church of St Mary and St Peter, Tidenham The Church of St Mary and St Peter, Tidenham, is a parish church of the Diocese of Gloucester. It dates from the 13th and 14th centuries and was extensively restored by John Norton in 1858.
