Birnam, Perth and Kinross Birnam is located 12 miles (19 km) north of Perth on the A9 road, the main tourist route through Perthshire. The village originated from the Victorian era with the coming of the railway in 1856. The place and name is well known because William Shakespeare mentioned Birnam Wood in Macbeth.

Lady’s Tree Lady’s Tree is a Scots Pine on the banks of the Loch of the Lowes, Scotland. It was the roost of famous osprey ‘Lady’ for 24 years. In 2014 it was named Scotland’s Tree of the Year.

Black Linn Falls Black Linn Falls is a waterfall on the River Braan in Dunkeld, Scotland. Ossian’s Hall of Mirrors is a popular viewing point of the falls. The river passes beneath the Hermitage Bridge into a plunge pool.
