St Mary’s Church, Fordingbridge
St Mary’s Church, Fordingbridge is a 12th–13th-century church in Hampshire . It was restored in the 19th century .
Gorley Hill
The fort once occupied the southwestern corner of Gorley Common on Gorley Hill, a gravel-capped spur that points southwest into the Avon valley. The earthworks were destroyed in the 1950s and ’60s when the common’s new owners carried out large-scale gravel extraction works, effectively “scalping” the hill. The tall linear earthen banks present on the hill are a relic of the quarrying process and not prehistoric in origin.
Ibsley Circuit
The Ibsley Circuit was a car racing circuit situated at RAF IBSley in Hampshire, UK. Autosport states that the circuit was used for car racing from 1951 to 1955. All racing took place on Saturdays because its close proximity to the Church of St. Martin was so close that the noise of racing vehicles could disturb the congregation at worship.
