Ysgol Gyfun Garth Olwg Ysgol Garth Olwg was the first Welsh language comprehensive school in the south of Wales. The school was previously known as Ysgol Gyfun Gyfun Rhydfelen and Ysygol Gyfun Garth Olwg. It is situated in Church Village, near Pontypridd, in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Llantrisant Castle Llantrisant Castle is a ruined castle in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Glamorgan, Wales. Only a portion of a tower and some outer walls remain standing and neglected.

Royal Mint Museum The Royal Mint Museum is a numismatics museum located in Llantrisant, Wales. It houses coins, medals, artwork and minting equipment previous owned by the Royal Mint. A new £9 million visitor centre was built to allow members of the public to view the museum’s collection.

Afon Clun The Afon Clun (English: River Clun) is a 14-mile (23 km) long tributary of the River Ely (Welsh: Afon Elái) The river is fast-flowing, in clear shallow water with a hard substrate. The river contains species such as stone loach, lamprey, eel, roach, chub and bullhead. Many archeological sites are close to the river, from Bronze Age tumuli on The Garth and an Iron Age hill fort at Rhiwsaeson.
