Healds Hall Healds Hall was built in 1764 and was a private residence for several notable people. In 1926 it became the headquarters and museum for the Spen Valley Literary and Scientific Society. It is now a hotel, restaurant and function venue.

Roberttown Roberttown is a village in the township of Liversedge in Kirklees, West Yorkshire. It is historically, part of the West Riding of Yorkshire.

Dewsbury Bus Museum The Dewsbury Bus Museum is a museum in Ravensthorpe, West Yorkshire, England. Opened to the public in September 1989, it is owned and operated by the West Riding Omnibus Museum Trust.

The Mirfield Free Grammar The Mirfield Free Grammar (also known as the MFG) and sixth form is a secondary school in the town of Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Patrick Stewart was a student at the school and opened the school as an academy in September 2011. The school has undergone major renovations, completed by September 2014.

Thornhill power station The first generating station on the site was owned and operated by the Yorkshire Electric Power Company. Following nationalisation of the British electricity supply industry in 1948 Thornhill power station was operated by a succession of state owned bodies. The coal-fired steam station was decommissioned in 1982, and was subsequently demolished in 1998.

Kirkheaton Kirkheaton is a village 3 miles (5 km) north east of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Historically, it is part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. It is in Dalton ward of the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees.
