Moss Hall is an Elizabethan timber-framed hall from 1616. It is 0.5 miles (1 km) from Audlem village centre.

Audlem geography / climate

Audlem is on the Shropshire Union Canal, which has a run of 15 locks designed by Thomas Telford. The River Weaver passes west of the village. Audlem railway station closed along with the local railway line in 1960s.

St James’ Church, Audlem St James’ Church dates from the late 13th century with additions in the 19th century. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, Macclesfield and the deanery of Nantwich.

Ball Farm Ball Farm is the oldest surviving building in the village of Hankelow, near Audlem in Cheshire. It is thought to date from 1510 and is listed at grade II* by the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England.
