Aslacton photo St Peter’s Church, Forncett
St Peter’s is one of seven churches in the parish of Upper Tas Valley All Saints in south Norfolk, ten miles south of Norwich, UK. It is an active place of worship and a nationally significant Grade I listed building. Its Anglo-Saxon round tower, built circa 1000 AD, is considered one of the best in the country.
Aslacton photo Forncett railway station
Forncett railway station was opened in 1849 when Norwich and Ipswich were connected by the Eastern Union Railway. Between 1881 and 1951 it was a junction for a short route to Wymondham. It was closed as a result of the Beeching Axe.
