Kentisbury Kentisbury is a rural civil parish in North Devon, bordering the Exmoor National Park. It consists of three small hamlets, Patchole, Kentisbury Ford and Kentisbury. The population at the 2001 census was 266, increasing to 299 at the 2011 census.

East Down, Devon East Down is a village and civil parish in the Barnstaple district of Devon. It includes the hamlets of Churchill, Shortacombe, Brockham and Clifton. The parish contains a church, pub and manor house.

Manor of Loxhore The Manor of Loxhore was a manor in the parish of North Devon, England. It was located in North Devon and was named after the manor. It is believed to have been built in the 17th century.

Church of St Peter, Shirwell The Church of St Peter is the 13th-century Anglican parish church for Shirwell in North Devon. It is a Grade I listed building and comes under the Diocese of Exeter. Aviator and sailor Sir Francis Chichester, who was born in Shirwell, is buried in the churchyard.

Manor of Shirwell The Manor of Shirwell was the seat of two of the leading families of North Devon. The manor house which survives today known as Youlston Park is one of the most architecturally important historic houses in North Devon and exists largely in its Georgian form.

Shirwell Shirwell is a village, civil parish and former manor in the local government district of North Devon. It was also formerly the name of a hundred of Devon. The village lies about 3.5 miles north-east of the town of Barnstaple, to the east of the A39 road to Lynton.
