Adlingfleet history
The village was written as “Adelingesfluet” in the Domesday Book. It was part of the Goole Rural District in the West Riding of Yorkshire from 1894 to 1974. The parish church of All Saints is a Grade I listed building.

Adlingfleet is on a minor road set back from the final, southern bank of the Ouse estuary. The boundary between the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire comes to a point 820 feet (250 m) south of the village centre.
