St Donat’s Church, Welsh St Donats Records of 1180 describe the church as a chapel confirmed to the Abbey of Tewkesbury. By 1563 it was known to have served as a parish church for the community. By 1764 it received a stipend from Queen Anne’s Bounty and was described as a curacy.

Church of the Holy Cross, Cowbridge The Church of the Holy Cross is a medieval church in Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. Believed to have been built in the 13th century, the church has an unusual tower design. It was listed as a Grade I building on 12 May 1963.

Cowbridge town wall Cowbridge town wall is a Grade II*-listed medieval wall in the small market town of Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. The walls were built by about 1300 and are believed to have been used to collect tolls from the town’s market, held twice-weekly.

The Vale Resort The Vale Resort is a golf, spa and leisure hotel and resort in the Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. It consists of a hotel, spa, restaurant, restaurant and two championship golf courses.

Pontyclun F.C. Pontyclun Football Club is an amateur Welsh football club, founded in 1896. It plays in the Ardal Leagues South West, the third tier of the Welsh football pyramid. In 1922, the club was admitted to the Football Association of Wales, one of the few amateur clubs at the time to achieve such status. Peter Shilton was the record goalscorer for the club.

Hensol Castle Hensol Castle is a castellated mansion in the gothic architecture style dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is now a wedding and conference venue for The Vale Resort.
