Christ Church, Welshpool Christ Church, Welshpool was commissioned by the Earl of Powis to commemorate his son, Edward James, the Viscount Clive, having come of age. It was designed by Thomas Penson and completed 1839–44. The church consists of a 7-bay nave with offset west tower, aisles, apse and south porch.

Guilsfield Guilsfield (Welsh: Cegidfa, lit. “Hemlock-field”) is a village and local government community in Montgomeryshire, Powys, Wales. The community has an area of 30.01 km (11.59 sq mi) and had a population of 1,640 in 2001.

Buttington Oak Oak said to have been planted to mark the site of the Battle of Buttington in 893. It had been cyclically pollarded for timber until around 150 years ago. Oak tree was rediscovered in 2009 and badly damaged by storms in 2017.
