It was the second Catholic church to be built in the town after the Reformation. Tudor Tavern, Taunton Tudor Tavern at No 15 Fore Street, Taunton, Somerset, has been designated as a Grade I listed building. Built in 1578, the house is three storeys high of a timber-frame construction with jettied first and second floors.
Taunton Unitarian Chapel Taunton Unitarian Chapel was built in the early 18th century as a Baptist chapel. The exterior was extensively renovated in the 19th century in an Italianate style. The chapel has been designated as a Grade II* listed building.
