The name “Thrigby” is Old Scandinavian and means ‘Thrykki’s farm/settlement’ Thrigby was recorded in the Domesday Book as Trikebei/Trukbei. On 1 April 1935 the parish was abolished and merged with Mautby.

Trinity Broads Trinity Broads is a 316.8-hectare (783-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. They are on a tributary of the River Bure, but there is no navigable link to the main river system, and they are therefore undisturbed.

Clippesby Clippesby is a small village in Great Yarmouth Borough Council area, Norfolk. It is located on the B1152 and surrounded by the Norfolk Broads. Farming and tourism comprise the majority of its economy. The population of the village is included in the civil parish of Fleggburgh.

Thrigby Thrigby is a village and former civil parish 14 miles (23 km) east of Norwich, now in the parish of Mautby. In 1931 the parish had a population of 47.

Thrigby Windmill Thrigby Post Windmill is located in the civil parish of Mautby in the English county of Norfolk. The mill is on the south side of Mill Lane 1,125 yards (1.029 km) east of the village of Thrigby.

All Saints’ Church, Billockby All Saints’ Church is an Anglican church, partly ruined, near the villages of Billockby and Fleggburgh, Norfolk, England. It is a Grade II listed building with the porch and chancel in regular use.
