The present-day civil parish of Sunningdale came into existence in 1894 under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1894. It was, until 1995, partly in Berkshire and partly in Surrey. The area is popular with professional golfers due to its adjoining green buffers.

South Ascot South Ascot is a village just south of and down the hill from the small town of Ascot in Berkshire. It is bounded on the west by the Kingsride area of Swinley Woods, on the north by the Reading to Waterloo railway line.

Cherry Hill, Virginia Water Cherry Hill is a modernist style house on the Wentworth Estate in Virginia Water, Surrey, England, completed in 1935. Originally called Holthanger, it was renamed Southern Court and Cherry Hill. The property was commissioned by Katherine Hannah Newton, a wealthy single woman.

Virginia Water Lake Virginia Water Lake lies on the southern edge of Windsor Great Park, in the borough of Runnymede in Surrey and the civil parishes of Old Windsor and Sunningdale in Berkshire. The grounds of the lake, Fort Belvedere, and the Clockcase are all Grade I listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

2020 BMW PGA Championship The 2020 BMW PGA Championship was the 66th edition of the BMW Championship, an annual golf tournament on the European Tour. The tournament was originally due to be held 10–13 September at the West Course of Wentworth Club in Virginia Water, Surrey, England. Tyrrell Hatton won the tournament with a score of 269, 19-under-par, after a final round 67.

BMW PGA Championship The BMW PGA Championship is the flagship event on the European Tour. It was founded in 1955 by the Professional Golfers’ Association. The tournament has usually been played each May, on the weekend of the UK’s Spring Bank Holiday. The winner of the tournament is given an exemption into that season’s U.S. Open and the next three Open Championships.

2016 BMW PGA Championship The 62nd edition of the BMW PGA Championship is held 26–29 May at the West Course of Wentworth Club in Virginia Water, Surrey, England. Chris Wood won by one stroke over Rikard Karlberg.

Updown Court Updown Court is a Californian style residence situated in the village of Windlesham in Surrey, England. The 103-room mansion has 58 acres of landscaped gardens and private woodland. It was, in 2005, the most expensive private home on the market anywhere in the world.

Valley Gardens The Valley Gardens are 220 acres (0.89 km) of botanical garden. Located near Englefield Green in the English county of Surrey. Grade I listed on Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

Wentworth Estate The Wentworth Estate is a private estate of large houses set in about 7 square kilometres (2.7 sq mi) woodland, in Runnymede, Surrey. It lies within a gently undulating area of coniferous heathland and interlaces with the Wentworth Golf Club.

Savill Building The Savill Building is a visitor centre at the entrance to the Savill Garden in Windsor Great Park, Surrey, England. It was opened by the Duke of Edinburgh on 26 June 2006.
